DESCRIPTION
AR Contracting Services completed stages 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 of the subdivision at Aston Hills, Mount Barker.
The scope of work included the provision of all underground services (reticulation of sewer, stormwater, water, reclaimed water and common services), bulk earthworks, construction of roadworks, footpaths and installation of a 5 metre deep pump station.
CHALLENGE
A significant volume of rock was encountered throughout the subdivisions, which meant that a rock breaker was required to assist in digging the service trenches. This was completed while still adhering to the construction program.
