DESCRIPTION
AR Contracting Services completed the subdivision of a prestigious residential land development at Woodforde, Hamilton Hill.
As the site was on a steep slope, the allotments had to be benched. A significant amount of over-cutting and backfilling was required to accommodate the construction of retaining walls and stairs. AR Contracting Services carefully planned and staged this earthworks component to maximise the efficiency of works.
CHALLENGE
Apartments and townhouses were being built at the same time as the work being completed by AR Contracting Services within the Hamilton Hill precinct. AR Contracting Services as the head civil contractor liaised with builders, the client, consultant and local council to manage the site with other construction parties in an orderly manner. Safety procedures were put in place to ensure the safety of all workers and visitors without impacting the efficiency of construction works.
